Required Qualifications

• Chemical or Environmental Engineer
• More than 10 years’ work experience in the same position of a large construction company of large construction sites as deputy or head of the HSSE & Quality department.
• Knowledge of relevant standards (quality (ISO 9001), safety (ISO 45001) and environmental regulations (ISO 14001).
• Ability to monitor risks and comply with regulations to implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Skills in budget monitoring and risk management
• Good knowledge of English

Responsibilities and Duties

• Implementation and monitoring of quality (ISO 9001), safety (ISO 45001) and environmental regulations (ISO 14001) procedures in the project in accordance with customer standards and requirements, from beginning to completion.
• Carry out quality (ISO 9001), safety (ISO 45001) and environmental regulations (ISO 14001) audits and identify any deviations from the specified specifications.
• Development and implementation of training programs for quality (ISO 9001), safety (ISO 45001) and environmental regulations (ISO 14001) to employees and subcontractors.
• Monitoring pollutant emissions and resource consumption in order to reduce the environmental impact of projects.
• Examination and recording of safety and quality incidents and analysis of their causes.
• Take action to eliminate or reduce risks through corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with other engineers, subcontractors and the Project Manager to ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental management standards.
• Provide technical support and advice to project teams for the implementation of quality, safety and environmental policies.
